About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a high growth business to join our rocketship on DoorDash for Business, DoorDash's corporate offering.

You will be responsible for leading 0 to 1 efforts to expand DoorDash for Business into new surface areas. We are looking for a highly motivated problem solver that can both operate at the lowest level of detail and plan the big picture strategic impact of new initiatives.

We are looking for an individual that will take ownership from initial analysis of a problem through data, design and execute A / B operations tests, and develop long-term roadmaps for these initiatives.

This is a true strategy and operations role.

Reporting to the Manager of Strategy and Operations for DoorDash for Business Planning & Strategic Initiatives, you will work closely with product, engineering, operations and other teams to make your vision a reality.

  • Build - Develop and lead 0 to 1 opportunities, creating the roadmap for future DoorDash for Business opportunities to help us determine where to invest our resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate - Value partnerships, and excel at working across Marketing, Operations, Product, Sales, Engineering, and develop new products and services for our clients.
  • Construct - Navigate in an ambiguous environment and bring structure to undefined opportunities. There won't always be playbooks or templates;

instead you will create them.

Analyze - Leverage data whenever possible to inform your hypothesis and align cross functional partners.

We're excited about you because...

  • You have 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
  • You excel both as a generalist and specialist who can build the overarching strategy and dive deep into specific issues and processes to drive continuous improvement
  • You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
  • You are an excellent analytical thinker who can build models to deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets;

intermediate SQL experience required

  • You are customer obsessed - whether that is our clients, merchants or dashers and comfort talking / working with people from all walks of life
  • You're unafraid of ambiguity. You don't need a playbook. You dive into difficult problems and come up with a plan. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you.
  • You have a BA / BS degree in quantitative or business fields.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
