Position Summary

We're looking to welcome a dynamic Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on web application development to join to our scientific team.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and application of LLM-based software to support scientific reasoning.

It's a unique opportunity to influence our team's culture and tackle intricate technical challenges in an innovation-driven environment.

This role is among the first hires, and we're looking for someone who is excited to help drive the technical and scientific direction of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Innovate and test novel UI / UX to foster human-AI collaboration.
• Lead front-end development and collaborate to integrate front-end and back-end systems.
• Promote a collaborative software development environment by adopting Git, participating in code reviews, and delivering reliable software.
• Streamline application deployment via Docker containerization and actively contribute to CI / CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field and 5+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. in computer science.
• Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role.
• Extensive experience in front-end development with Javascript and React.js
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML / CSS, JavaScript)
• Expertise in creating server-side logic using Python.
• Strong understanding of UI / UX principles and an eye for design.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Energetic self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a startup environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize & communicate complex information rapidly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of SaaS product development.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration services like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a distinct advantage.
