Selectek has an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer in the Charlotte, NC area.
Job Description :
- Creating efficient, cost-effective commercial, higher education, institutional, and light industrial facilities design
- Engineering design for residential and commercial mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and process systems
- Assisting in developing and maintaining project work plan
- Coordinating with electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines
- Modifying designs after quality control review by senior designers or engineers.
Required :
- 4+ years of experience in the design and drafting of residential, commercial, institutional, or light industrial mechanical systems
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed P.E. or experienced E.I.T. eligible to sit for P.E. exam
- Ability to work independently and as a strong team player
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit MEP
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MathCAD

Pay range : $90,000 - $124,000 annual salary
Term of assignment : Direct Hire

Hours and shift : Monday - Thursday (8AM 6PM) Friday (8AM 12PM)
Work from home : Not in beginning but flexible down the line
