About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2004 To $2226 Job Title : Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Occupational Therapy - Outpatient, Adult Ortho / Neuro Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8-hour days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Previous work experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred License : State license Certifications : - National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy registration - Current state driver's license for those providing Driving Evaluations - CPR certification within 90 days of hire Must-Have : - Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy - Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served - Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills - Excellent computer skills Job Description : - Assist patients in the restoration of occupational function through evaluation and treatment - Perform examination and evaluation of patients' occupational and functional status including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems as they relate to functional mobility skills - Gather information about patients from various sources such as the patient chart, patient and family, or other appropriate sources - Evaluate patients' occupational and functional status, establish therapy goals, and formulate treatment plans consistent with goals - Observe patients and document their status - Assist technicians and assistants in resolving problems related to patient care - Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging information about patient conditions
