About the Role

As a Sanitation Supervisor , you are responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas within the facility and the safe and effective use of sanitation equipment. This role will maintain sanitation schedules, support inventory management, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to drive cleanliness and operational excellence across the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assign work specific to areas, review performance, and assist as needed
  • Ownership of broader departmental tasks (Schedule, Master Sanitation schedule, inventory ordering etc.)
  • Oversee projects & works with peers in other departments
  • Training all new hires
  • Ensure all daily, weekly, and quarterly tasks are completed on time
  • Motivate others to complete tasks assigned
  • Dishwashing duties using 3-bay sink and a dish washer machine
  • Comply with health and sanitation procedures and support overall cleanliness and maintenance of the workplace.
  • Washing and sanitizing all areas including restrooms, offices, breakrooms, warehouse spaces and outside grounds
  • Operating of a floor scrubbing machine in the warehouse space
  • Sanitize the common areas, including floors, walls, countertops, furniture, and restrooms.
  • Removal of garbage throughout operational hours and at the end of the shift
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company procedure
  • Support training initiatives
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role working in, but not limited to, a restaurant, hotel, or large facility environment
  • Previous experience supervising a team of associates
  • 6+ months of experience using technology such as smart phones and tablets, inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to follow safety protocol and PPE requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments
  • Ability to work in a quick-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Requirements

  • 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
  • Comfortable working in various temperatures including cold environment (34-40 degrees Fahrenheit) and occasional freezer temperatures that can range anywhere from 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Able to lift, pull, and push 50 pounds of weight by oneself
  • Able to stand a full shift while working
  • Ability to communicate effectively as needed to carry out job functions, including reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
  • Able to work evenings and weekends
