As a Home Loan Center Inside Loan Officer, you will originate real estate loans for branch customers in areas not currently covered by Loan Officers.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to :

• Originate standard residential type mortgage loans via telephone and internet with customers referred by identified branches of the Bank.
• Originate residential mortgage loans for employees of the Bank.
• Originate loans in compliance with the Bank's underwriting guidelines and those published by the Bank's investors. Ensure strict compliance with regulator requirements for residential loan origination.
• Set up originated loans in the Bank's system and ensure processing through submission for underwriting.
• Attend internal training sessions, internal sales meetings, and external training opportunities.
• Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.

Education & Certifications :

• Bachelor's Degree : Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or other related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
• NMLS registration required.

Experience :

4 or more years of experience in mortgage loan origination required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Proven pattern of success in consistent origination, closing, and funding of mortgage loans.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, regulations, underwriting, and loan processes and procedures.
• Effective presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of the residential mortgage lending process for 1 to 4 family dwellings.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to mortgage loan origination.
Travel :
• Up to 20%.
• Up to 20%.

• Monthly guarantee of $3,000.
