Mailroom office location
Basic Team Leader Responsibilities :
- TMG backup driver. As backup Driver- shift will begin at 800 Main St, and courier stopping points will be the local post office (401 Tom Landry) and Dallas Infomart
- Team Leader will oversee daily Mail Operations at 4500 Amon Carter, as well as 4200 Amon Carter. This position requires commuting weekly between the two locations
- This position requires a leadership skillset and experience of leading 3 or more employees. The Team Leader will manage PTO requests, general attendance and dress code concerns, non-escalated employee concerns, manage the client / mailroom relationships, build a rapport with all clients and vendors
- Manage daily email inbox communication
- Manage onsite training of new hires and uptraining of current employees
- Will attend mandatory training and communicate changes and updates to employees
- Escalate concerns with daily operations in a timely manner
- The Team Leader will participate in Business Continuity Planning and Execution
- Oversee and manage equipment refreshing (computer refresh, machine maintenance, Wi-Fi disruption concerns, etc.)
- Work closely with the Leadership Team on additional tasks that may be assigned or site related
- Additional tasks as assigned
Mailroom Operations :
- Receive and Deliver incoming mail and packages
- Sort interoffice and USPS mail
- Process Accountable Mail using Bear Tracks system
- X-ray packages for suspicious items
- Process outgoing packages via UPS / FedEx
- Perform mail / package deliveries within the building
- Look up and research unidentified mail recipients
- Provide exceptional Customer Service and Customer Experience
- Daily input of volumes / EOM volume input
- Document daily volume reports
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- 6 months to 1 year experience in a mail room or experience at FedEx, Amazon, and / or UPS.
- Working knowledge in MS-Office : Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.
- Ability to handle prolonged standing, frequent walking, pushing heavy carts.
