Responsibilities
The Senior Pipeline Project Manager will provide project management, technical and construction support, leadership, and oversight to all commercial, operational, regulatory, and project driven activities as assigned across all the Business Units, including crude oil, natural gas, NGL and CO2 pipelines and facilities. Duties include :
- Project scope development such as pipeline and facility evaluations, regulatory and environmental permitting, project scheduling, and cost estimation
- AFE generation and documentation
- Basic project economic evaluation
- Manage engineering efforts using in-house and external 3rd party engineering resources
- Material / equipment sizing and specification as needed
- Material / equipment procurement
- Construction bidding and contractor selection
- Contract evaluation (construction and commercial)
- Project / construction management (cost and schedule controls)
- Routine report generation
- Travel required (30-50%)
This is 1 position in #Dallas or #Houston.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 7-15 years industry experience in midstream or refinery or petrochemicals, with at least 5 years of that experience in project management is required
- Carbon Dioxide pipeline (CCS) and its corresponding facility experience is preferred
- Knowledge of pipeline design with related industry equipment operations and maintenance codes / practices, measurement, compression design, gas conditioning and dehydration design, system planning / optimization, and pipeline hydraulics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Process / hydraulic simulation modelling experience like Promax, Synergi Gas, or Synergi Water is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and requires little supervision
- Team-oriented
- Must be willing to travel to project locations (30-50%)
