Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Director to join our team in Seattle.

Strategic leader responsible for contributing to the growth and profitability of the Company through development and execution of business plan to achieve area business goals and objectives.

Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, real estate, A&D firms, project management firms and channel partners to drive new business development.

Provides leadership, support and direction to sales and showroom support team and maintains united focus and effort on capturing market share.

Meets assigned sales targets including quota.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communication, or equivalent.
  • 8 years diversified sales and account development experience, including :
  • 6 years in commercial product sales or services with demonstrated track record of successful revenue generation / quota retirement results.
  • 3 years-experience in sales supervisory role responsible for developing, coaching, and leading sales team to obtain successful sales revenue results.
  • Ability to work in the Seattle, WA region without relocation assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

Experience managing remote territories and team members.

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, business planning skills, and ability to set direction, drive innovation and change, and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in an influential sales leader role, including knowledge of all aspects of the sales cycle; prospecting of new and competitive clients, networking within industries and with various audiences / decision-makers, selling to specification, negotiation skills to close business, and how to affect the multiple-step sales process to drive revenue.
  • Ability to confidently demonstrate why Haworth to various audiences to build preference of Haworth.
  • Strong business relationship developer; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups of people cross-functionally and at all levels (internally and externally);

operates with high level of personal integrity and business ethics to reach positive outcomes for the business.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage others and financial acumen to manage territory for profitable results.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring and people development skills to increase performance.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of people throughout the company and external audiences.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated personal and social competence (i.e., emotional intelligence) to manage behavior and navigate social complexities.
  • Profit conscious mindset to effectively allocate and manage expenses to achieve budgetary results within established guidelines.
  • Ability to connect across geographies and corporate headquarters to align actions with business directives / company initiatives.
  • Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive culture.
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment, including remote communication tools such as Bluescape and Teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently up to 50% of time in assigned sales area; occasional overnight and international travel to attend meetings and training.
