We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to join the team in our Hartford, CT office.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. At CohnReznick, we believe in creating the conditions in which everyone can do their best work, collaborate, learn, and build community.

This position will support our PCS Group . You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
  • Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Develop detailed engagement work plans
  • Illustrate budgets and schedules
  • Actively participate in proposals
  • Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
  • Gain the respect and confidence of the CR team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have :

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting / Taxation preferred
  • CPA, JD or EA preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years tax+accounting experience in a public accounting firm
  • Real Estate Industry experience preferred
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Strong tax research and writing skills
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Competence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIA
  • Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
