Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 3- Months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : Milwaukee, WI 53226.

Job Type : 3 months - W2 contract - with possible extension

Schedule : 8am - 4 : 30 pm

Pay Range : $17 - $21 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)

Responsibilities :

• Medical Assistant is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team.
• This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning standard rooming responsibilities assisting with procedures discharge instructions and other duties as assigned.
• The medical assistant is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patients visit.
• The medical assistant may be required to cross train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Work experience :

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months of medical assistant experience is required.
• BLS required.
• MA certificate.
