Responsibilities Work in the ICU with both ICU and IMC patient populations Monitor telemetry for the hospital as part of ICU responsibilities Paragon / Allscripts used for acute care charting, T-System used in the ED 12-hour variable shifts including nights (3x12, 19 : 00–07 : 30) Required to float to MS / Tele, IMC, and possibly Emergency Department First to float to inpatient units as staffing needs arise Every other weekend shift required Bedside shift reporting, use of AIDET protocols, and hourly rounding are mandatory Two professional references required, including one from a supervisor Modules and orientation provided, to be completed during onboarding Participation in natural disaster or emergency response activities may be required Not accepting local candidates within a 60-mile radius Travelers may not work at this facility as a traveler for more than one year consecutively and must take a one-year break before returning Holiday requests limited to one day if multiple holidays fall during the contract Requirements Active RN license in MI is required Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) PALS certification preferred Fingerprinting required for compliance Must not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-602069.
