Pay Rate : $25 / hr

Description / Comment :

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to our patients and assist our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.

Your role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the attention and care they need to recover and thrive.

• Long Term Care
• 75 MILE RADIUS RULE
• Shift : 3p - 11p
• 37.5 guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend if required
• Must float to all units (same building)
• 1+ years experience
• NY license
• 40 bed unit
• Patient populations : MS, ortho, dementia, memory care
• EMR : PointClick Care

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility, while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Vital Signs Monitoring : Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Support Nursing Staff : Assist nurses with medical procedures, wound care, and the administration of basic treatments as directed.
• Patient Communication : Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns and helping them feel comfortable during their stay.
• Environment Maintenance : Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Documentation : Accurately document patient care activities and observations in the medical records.

Qualifications :

• Certification : Active CNA certification in the state of NY .
• Experience : Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Skills : Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift, move, and assist patients, as well as perform other physical tasks associated with patient care.
