Senior Electrical Engineer - Mobile, AL FTE, Permanent Requirements : Professional Engineering License 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in chemical plants or heavy industrial Office attendance 4 days per week Team-oriented mindset Responsibilities : Design according to standards and project specifications Lead and mentor less experienced team members Oversee on-site support during startups Produce designs, calculations, and cost estimates for electrical systems Develop specifications for 15kV / 5kV equipment, layouts, and installation details Perform load, voltage drop, and protective device calculations Review vendor drawings and coordinate across disciplines Ensure designs meet client expectations and adhere to NEC and industry standards Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering 10+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering Proficient in CAD software, MS Office, and NEC code Skills : Ability to size wiring, calculate load, and develop installation specs Strong presentation and communication skills Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Suite Preferred : Professional Engineering License Cross-divisional collaboration and virtual team leadership.
