Facility Description
Opened in 2003, UofL Health- Medical Center East, is an outpatient care facility serving Louisville, Kentucky. Home of UofL Health Women's Care, the facility has earned distinction as being the first in Louisville to receive ACR-accreditation for breast MRI as well as Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) designation.
Services at Medical Center East include 24 / 7 emergency care, outpatient surgery, diagnostics and medical imaging, digital mammography, breast MRI and the Frazier Rehab Institute.
UofL Health is a fully integrated regional academic health system with five hospitals, four medical centers, and nearly 250 physician practice locations.
