Role Description : We are seeking a full-time, on-site Construction Project Manager for our client's Los Angeles, CA or Orange County, CA locations.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This includes project coordination, budgeting, construction management, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all phases of assigned construction projects, from inception to completion.
- Prepare and conduct project cost estimates.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members.
- Interface with clients and participate in weekly progress meetings.
- Prepare subcontractor buyouts and review invoices.
- Ensure all project-related documents comply with contract requirements.
- Work closely with Project Superintendents on scheduling and change order management.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
- Proven ability to create and update baseline construction schedules.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in project management software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Required experience with OSHPD, Public Works, DSA, Municipality projects.
