Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
Job Details
- Medical Oncology with progressive care beds / pediatric patients.
- High acuity of PCU and ICU. Candidates with PCU / ICU experience preferred. May float to Med / Surg.
- Patient Diagnoses : Solid Tumor, Orthopedic Oncology, Thoracic Oncology
- Special Procedures / Unit Details : Medical Oncology with progressive care beds, Pediatric patients, NIH protocols.
- Special Equipment : B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of oncology experience preferred.
- Certifications : Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- Ratio : 1 : 4.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Skills Required : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Accessing ports, Arterial line management, Blood product administration, Central line care / management, PICC line management, IV start, Assist with chest tube insertion / removal, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
Schedule Information
- No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule.
- Facility determines the complete schedule, with the possibility of working every weekend. Must be flexible.
- Maximum 7 straight days off.
- 14-week contract required if taking 7 days off.

- Unit Information : Medical Oncology with progressive care beds / pediatric patients.
- High acuity of PCU and ICU.
- May float to Med / Surg.
