Salary : $100,000 - $125,000 DOE
About Us :
A wholesale nursery with locations in Washington and Oregon is looking for an experienced Controller who will manage the administrative and accounting staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Manage monthly reconciliation process including bank accounts, A / R, inventory, A / P, credit cards, etc.
- Prepare internal monthly financial statements
- Multi-state tax reporting
- Manage payroll functions
- Plan administrator for qualified plans and respond to employee’s questions on 401k plan
- Manage asset protection and insurance programs, including both benefit and business insurance, and risk management activities
- Manage all aspects of relationships with firms, banks, and other commercial lenders
- Supply information and work with the CPA for year-end financial statement and tax preparation / planning
- Work with managers on sales projections and profit analysis
- Other duties, as required

Education / Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business. Experience in accounting may be substituted year-for-year for education.
