Ochsner Health is seeking a board certified Pediatric and / or Adult Emergency Medicine physician with an EMS board certification to join our Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Children’s Hospital.

Our comprehensive Pediatrics Program including primary care pediatricians and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists (Ochsner Children’s™) represents over 230 physicians.
The group is the region’s leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
We offer a full range of pediatric complex specialty services including congenital heart surgery and cardiac transplantation, liver and bone marrow transplantation, a comprehensive surgical sub-specialty group, and the region’s only comprehensive multidisciplinary developmental center.
The new Ochsner Children’s Hospital will include a 26-bed separate dedicated pediatric ED as well as a pediatric trauma unit.
We currently care for patients in an expanding 67-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed PICU, a 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, and a 44-bed pediatric acute unit, with a dedicated pediatric emergency room, and full-time, region-wide in-house pediatric and neonatal transport teams.
In addition to patient care, Ochsner Children’s Hospital has an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency an as well as medical students from both Tulane and the University of Queensland.
We plan to create an EMS fellowship within the department of Emergency medicine and are recruiting for faculty in this specific area.
