Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough assessments of students' functional abilities to identify areas for intervention.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to enhance students' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities within the school setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting, especially with diverse student populations including autism, CP, and developmental delays, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
