Senior Electrical Engineer

Title : Senior Electrical Engineer Location : Tulsa, OK Duration : 12-month contract to start. This position is expected to be long term and the individual will go direct at some point. Pay : DOE Schedule : 40 hrs a week Start date : ASAP OVERVIEW : We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support a growing pipeline of industrial-scale projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Lead the design and development of electrical systems for heavy industrial facilities, including process plants, refineries, mills, and power-related infrastructure. Focus on medium voltage systems (up to 14kV) and standard distribution voltages (480V to 120V). Provide technical oversight of electrical design work, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers and field engineers. Conduct field assessments, coordinate with clients, and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers. QUALIFICATIONS : PE license highly preferred (or on track to obtain). 7+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in an engineering consulting firm. Strong background in medium voltage and standard industrial power distribution. Familiarity with industrial environments – not focused on controls, automation, or low voltage / residential systems.
