Given the specific focus of Stage 32’s Development Services Division, which is designed to support writers and creatives via pitching, script coverage, and consulting with industry professionals, you will need a unique blend of entertainment industry knowledge, business acumen, and operational expertise.

Your role focuses on increasing revenue 2x by expanding and introducing new growth and services, improving existing offerings, and managing the day-to-day operations to ensure effective delivery of services.

Your mission will be to expand our reach and impact in the entertainment industry, ensuring top-notch service delivery that aligns with Stage 32’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development and Strategy :

  • Analyze existing business models and service offerings to identify areas for improvement and 2x revenue expansion.
  • Explore and develop new revenue streams based on current products and through innovative, value-added services.
  • Cultivate partnerships with industry stakeholders globally to enhance service offerings and expand market reach.
  • Attract and expose new executives to Stage 32 and have them participate in the network and in our services by introducing them to Stage 32’s 13 year standing in the industry, our history of fostering quality material and talent.
  • Increase Stage 32’s visibility and standing across the globe.

Operational Excellence :

  • Lead with our member first / customer first mission and making sure that every member has a great experience 100% of the time.
  • Put an emphasis on member satisfaction surveys and a continuing goal to improve services and processes at all times.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of current operational processes and implement recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all operations are scalable to accommodate growth and changes in market dynamics.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems and / or technologies to improve service delivery and customer engagement.

Market Analysis and Program Development :

  • Stay abreast of global entertainment industry trends to forecast changes and position Stage 32 strategically.
  • Develop and oversee new programs that align with emerging market opportunities and the needs of creatives in the entertainment sector.
  • Measure the impact of new initiatives and refine approaches based on detailed analysis and feedback.
  • Stay abreast of all competition, their offerings, their lead generation and their standing in the community.
  • Identify areas where we can gain a competitive advantage.

Leadership and Team Management :

  • Set a high standard of operational and business performance excellence from our staff.
  • Assure that all members of the team are adhering to the Stage 32 Mission and our member / customer first mantra as well as department revenue goals.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team to achieve excellence in business development and operations.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
  • Mentor team members, providing career development opportunities and guidance.
  • Nourish a build and promote from within mentality.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Entertainment Management, or related field.
  • 8-10 years experience in a senior business development or operations role within the entertainment industry.
  • Established network of contacts in the global entertainment industry and a thorough understanding of its mechanics.
  • Demonstrated success in operational analysis, business expansion, and strategic partnerships.
