About The Position
- Job Title : Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technician Job Specialty : Neuromonitoring Technology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 1 year required;
- first-timers not accepted License : Pending state license accepted Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) Must-Have : - COVID-19 vaccine and booster required;
religious and medical exemptions accepted with proper documentation - Skills in monitoring techniques such as SSEPs, TcMEPs, SEMG, ABRs, motor mapping, and cranial nerve monitoring Job Description : - Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgeries in a Level I trauma, teaching, and children’s hospital environment.
- Monitor the nervous system through various diagnostic techniques.- Handle different types of cases that include spine, advanced cranial, and vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout the process.
- Work collaboratively in the operating room with various surgical teams and assist in managing complex motor mapping and cranial nerve monitoring scenarios.
- Participate in a call rotation as required and adhere to facility-specific protocols and safety standards.- Ability to work with adults, geriatrics, neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including strict documentation and communication protocols.
