We offer the following

• Hourly Range : $18 - $22 + Sales Spiffs, Bonuses, Profit Sharing (after 18 months)
• Full Time : 5-day work week (Monday to Saturday)

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to determine overall flooring needs
• Build strong relationships & follow up with new / existing clients
• Occasionally set up appointments to visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product / design advice
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services available
• Provide flooring sample suggestions, review area measurements & calculate number of materials needed
• Create estimates / proposals & perform quality control during active projects
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and sampling needs
• Handle customer complaints or direct them to proper departments based on complaint
• Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Flooring Sales, Retail Sales, Customer Service, Construction, or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks & Microsoft Outlook (REQUIRED)
• Proper phone etiquette a must
• Basic computer, social media, and math skills a must
• A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
• Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Advanced time management skills
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong personal and professional judgment
• Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of the flooring industry a plus (Willing to train)
