A critical part of this is Silicon One - a high-performance, flexible, and energy-efficient networking platform that helps customers handle more data while saving energy and costs.

The Director of Executive Communications is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance the reputation, visibility, and messaging for the EVP, Common Hardware Group , as well as the CHG organization overall.

As a key leader in the extended Global Communications community, this role will have the chance to be one of the authors of our AI story.

This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing, storytelling, and interpersonal skills, capable of translating complex ideas and technical information into compelling narratives.

The Director of Executive Communications will work directly with the EVP , Common Hardware Group, to build his communications platform and strategy - determining all communications for internal and external audiences.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other senior executives and cross-functional partners to ensure that our messaging is clear, compelling, consistent, and cascading down to the right audiences.

They will also partner closely with other communications functions such as Public Relations and Analyst Relations to develop a proactive external communications strategy and profile.

You'll bring your strong writing skills and help us continue to evolve our narrative, both for your Executive and for the function overall.

You'll bring your content strategy experience and help us build our strategic and communications roadmap, including where your Executive should show up, why, and when.

You'll bring your analytical skills and industry knowledge and help us evolve our measurement and metrics. And you'll bring your sense of humor, your leadership, and your easy-going presence to our great and growing team.

Individuals who can succeed in the role are self-starters who can operate, and problem solve independently, anticipate executive needs, have a good executive presence, and strong communication skills.

This leader can span both strategic and execution-oriented thinking and can quickly and effectively translate directions into visual and verbal messaging through tools like PowerPoint.

While experience in a deeply technical organization is helpful, what's more important is the ability to take highly complex ideas and break them down into clear, compelling, palatable, and consistent messaging and soundbites.
