Production Supervisor
RemX is seeking a Production Supervisor in the Plainfield, NJ area. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong mechanical skills, extensive hands-on problem-solving experience in manufacturing, and the ability to lead and collaborate across various departments.
$75K - $80K annual salary plus, full benefits, 401k match up to 6%, life insurance, annual bonus, PTO
The Position :
- Optimize productivity by managing personnel, workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Quickly address and resolve production issues to minimize downtime
- Identify and fix recurring problems by working closely with leads and operators
- Work with production and maintenance teams to develop and implement effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies
- Mentor Area Leads to sustain improvements and enhance safety, quality, productivity, and delivery
- Ensure accurate production reporting and inventory management

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on production supervision experience in manufacturing
- Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred
- Strong mechanical skills with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching and mentoring
- Strong team player, capable of building and maintaining relationships across various departments and organizational levels
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application in a manufacturing setting is a plus
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Experience with the extrusion process is a plus
