Adding a Senior Revenue Accountant to a tenured and solid team that is experiencing high growth. Hybrid schedule with 2 days a week in office.
Revenue accounting experience required. Healthcare experience highly preferred.
Principal Accountabilities
- Reviews and / or prepares transactions for entry, posts entries upon approval, collects and evaluates data, conducts analysis, and prepares reports.
- Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Reports inconsistencies to higher level associates.
- Assists with the preparation of general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assists in analyzing financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the recording of financial transactions.
- Maintains records of routine accounting transactions.
- Prepares schedules with supporting documentation to external auditors.
- Responsible for comparing accounting system outputs with daily input verifying for accuracy and resolves discrepancies.
- Assists in preparation of financial and operating reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries.
- Interprets and communicates financial reports and results for managers.
- Conducts or assists in the documentation / support of accounting projects of varying complexity.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
