The CNC Machinist III performs all operations involved with setting up equipment and fixtures in the machining center. The CNC Machinist III will typically be assigned to 5+ axis and / or complex machines such as mill-turns and / or complex lathes.

2nd Shift : 4 : 30 p.m. - 3 : 00 a.m. Monday - Thursday; 2 : 30 p.m. - 10 : 30 p.m. Friday

Compensation

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $29.00 to $37.00. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Shift Differential : Employees assigned to the 2nd shift are eligible for a 20% shift differential.

Essential Functions

• Sets up, adjusts, checks out programming and operates CNC machines to perform a series of progressive machining operations requiring a high degree of skill.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Perform daily maintenance of machines as required.
• Operators may run more than one unit simultaneously.
• Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
