Job Description : Opportunity to work in a labor and delivery unit that handles approximately 240 deliveries per month.- Collaborate with a team of board-certified obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and Certified Nurse Midwives.
- Provide care in a facility featuring 36 rooms : including postpartum, antepartum / high-risk rooms, private delivery suites, C-section rooms, and a Level II Special Care Nursery.
- Work in a unit with an in-house OB attending and anesthesia available at all times.- No expectation to float to postpartum or mother-baby units.
- Use of EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 1-2.- Participate in non-billable modules for orientation, averaging 12 hours, and complete pre-start.
