Segue Inc. is looking for full-time, caring, tenacious individuals who genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of our clients who deal with severe mental illness. The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the Assertive Community Treatment (also known as ACT) program. Our Registered Nurses work with adults with a history of severe mental illness who may be at risk for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or other intensive psychiatric services but can remain safely in their communities with the ACT team's support.

What You Will Do

  • Our Registered Nurses provide basic services and support essential to maintaining a consumer's ability to function in community settings.
  • You ensure that the distribution of medication adheres to all guidelines and is carried out in accordance with the instructions provided by the physician.
  • You will maintain precise records of clients' medications and monitor them for any potential side effects resulting from the medication.
  • You arrange regular medication reviews with the physician for clients and offer nursing medication reviews whenever necessary.
  • Provide round-the-clock availability on a rotated basis, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, to assist staff with crisis interventions.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and be Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan to qualify as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional).
  • Knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance abuse)
  • Ability to travel within the county and provide valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • COMPENSATION AND VOLUNTARY BENEFITS

    The rate of pay is $30.00 / hour
