LAB23 Kitchen provides upscale contemporary cuisine, pastries, and coffee at its two quick service cafés and inside their main dining area.
LAB23 is conveniently located in Frisco TX inside the luxury dealership of Crest Cadillac, Infiniti, and Volvo.
You can expect to work with a team of highly trained professionals, led by a third generation culinary maestro, Aaron Thomas.
The line cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Key duties and responsibilities include :
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
- Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
- Ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Taking orders and payment from the customer
- Make sure the dining room is cleaned, and all table wiped down at the end of every shift
- Help with all catering events when needed
- Any other duties the Chefs assign
Qualifications :
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook.
- Must have previous customer service experience
- Available to work Full Time (30-40 hours per week)
- Available to work during the day (LAB23 Kitchen operations hours : 8 : 30am-4 : 00pm)
- Knowledgeable about food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
