Sullivan Law Offices, located in Southlake, TX, is a law firm focused on growth and performance based attorney compensation.

We offer a range of legal services including real estate law, business law, estate planning, probate, and civil and commercial litigation.

Our law firm was started in 2016 and has approximately 12 employees.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Litigation Attorney at Sullivan Law Offices. The Senior Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks including managing our litigation team with the assistance of our firm's managing attorney, Corey Kellam.

This role will be best filled by someone that is comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment who enjoys autonomy and is self-motivated, but most importantly has a desire to grow a client base.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of litigation cases, from pre-trial discovery through trial and appeal (with a focus on efficiency and achieving client goals)
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop winning case strategies
  • Draft and argue persuasive motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and depose witnesses effectively
  • Represent clients confidently in court hearings and trials (with a focus on achieving outstanding results)
  • Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and paralegals
  • Stay current on legal developments and best practices
  • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
  • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
