Job Responsibilities

• Providing patient-focused STNA care in a post-acute setting, consistent with individual care plans, facility policies and procedures, and all legal requirements
• Working under the direction and guidance of a wider multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and other providers
• Supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADL), including grooming, mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Observing the conditions and basic vital signs of residents and reporting updates to the nursing and clinical team
• Ensuring a clean and sanitized living environment for residents
• Communicating with residents and family members and relaying concerns to nursing supervisors
• Promoting a safe and secure environment and reporting any concerns to supervisors
• Participating in ongoing training on facility policies and nursing care best practices
• Additional duties and responsibilities assigned by nursing leadership team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current Ohio STNA certification
• Completion of all state tested nursing assistant requirements to receive an STNA certification from an accredited training program
• Good communication and interpersonal / social skills
