Lead Engineer for D365 Power Platform & Power Pages is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that integrate Dynamics 365 with the Power Platform , including Power Apps , Power Automate , Power BI , and Power Pages .
This role requires a deep understanding of Power Platform tools and web development within the Power Pages framework. The Lead Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications and solutions using Power Apps , Power Automate , Power BI , and Power Pages .
- Develop and manage web portals using Power Pages , ensuring seamless integration with Dynamics 365 and other business systems.
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect and other engineers to tailor Power Platform solutions to specific business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of Power Platform solutions, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
- Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions, including technical specifications, configuration settings, and user guides.
- Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform , recommending improvements and optimizations as needed.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in developing and deploying solutions using Power Platform tools, including Power Apps , Power Automate , and Power BI .
- Strong experience in web development within the Power Pages framework.
- Proven track record of integrating Power Platform with Dynamics 365 .
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# , JavaScript , and knowledge of X++ .
- Strong understanding of web technologies ( HTML , CSS , JavaScript ) and Azure services .
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, particularly Azure DevOps .
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure certifications are a plus.
