Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in the DMV area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

The Systems Engineer supports analyses, trade studies, modeling and simulation, technical reviews, and the optimization of system requirements.

They also support Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) tailoring activities; develop engineering documents for assigned programs;

and assist in the development, coordination, and administration of internal program / system configuration and data management strategies, plans, procedures, as well as toolset implementation and maintenance.

They establish and maintain control of requirements, documentation, and artifacts produced throughout the program / system’s lifecycle and manage the impact of change.

They also support the Requirements Development, Traceability, and Verification processes and provide technical advisory support to multidisciplinary working groups.

Additionally, they support the development of system performance metrics, test objectives, validation strategies, and Test Event Plans, and assist the program's Engineering Team in documenting issues and action items.

They are responsible for publishing meeting minutes and developing briefings to communicate project status. The Systems Engineer receives direction from the Systems Engineer’s.

They collaborate and share work with other Systems Engineer’s.

Basic Qualifications :

High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 2 years of relevant position experience. DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II. Experience with DoD 5000.

02 documentation requirements. Experience with use case development. Experience with requirements derivation. Experience with developing technical project artifacts.

Familiarity with Agile software development process. Experience with software engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering. Master's degree in STEM field. Relevant industry standard certifications. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies

Clearance Requirements :

Must be a US Citizen

Must have an active TS / SCI clearance

Physical Requirements :

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

For all positions requiring access to technology / software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.

S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
