I’m working with a retirement senior living community that has been around since 1933 and we’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join us full-time or part-time in Fargo, ND!
As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will work collaboratively with our nursing team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Conduct assessments of residents’ health status and report changes to the nursing staff or physician as necessary.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that resident needs are met.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing interventions, resident progress, and changes in condition.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions within the scope of practice.
- Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff and provide guidance to nursing assistants as needed.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Current LPN license in the state of North Dakota.
- Prior experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to resident care.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
