Hospital Material Management Technician
The Material Management Technician is responsible for ensuring hospital and outpatient clinic supply requests are
filled in a timely manner. The Material Management Technician will follow established hospital and department
policies and procedures when performing any of the job responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training : High school graduate or GED equivalent. Training provided. Experience : One year experience in warehouse or central supply is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Good driving record. Must be able to be insured by the hospital insurance company to drive vehicles.
- Verbal ability in both written and oral form.
- Ability to perform other designated department positions with appropriate cross training.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of requests to ensure task completion, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Ability to operate or successfully complete training to operate hospital vehicle.
