Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible to develop, maintain and run automation scripts
• Responsible to setup and configure test environments for Dev team
• Responsible to create test scenarios and develop test plans
• Participate in User acceptance testing discussions
• Responsible to test API layer and Database layer
• Logging defects into JIRA with required information
• Testing applications for responsive behavior for omni channel experience
• Develop reusable assets, create knowledge repository

Skills and Experience Required :

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience of using automation frameworks using Selenium (with C#)
• Experience in testing automation programs for UI, Mobile & API Layers.
• Exposure to setting and configuring complex test environments.
• Exposure to CI / CD tools like Jenkins.
• Exposure to API testing using POSTMAN or RestSharp
• Experience in automation using Appium is plus
• Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems.
• Knowledge of UFT and other automation functional testing tools
• Ability to influence and implement best practices, solutions, and processes
• Knowledge in BFSI is preferable

Must Have :

• Be a self-starter, and work well in a team
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience on working in Agile methodologies like SCRUM
• Experience of testing responsive applications for web, mobile and tablets
• Good understanding of howtechnology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business

Desired :

• Understanding of implementing tools for security Sonatype and Fortify will be preferred
• Exposure to containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes will be preferred
• Exposure to SQL Server, IBM Db2 or PostgreSQL
