The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri are seeking Physician Assistant – Specialty Care for multiple settings. These positions provide vital clinical support for the MU Department of Neurology & Sleep Disorders Clinic.

Opportunity Highlights

Inpatient Role

Full-time FTE : 13 12-hour shifts per month

Schedule includes some weekend coverage

Collaborative team of six NP / PAs in the Neurocritical Care Unit

Flexible scheduling with multiple days off

No call required

Key Responsibilities

Provide independent and collaborative care for neurological patients in an inpatient setting

Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology

Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes

Perform treatments and interventions, educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research

Utilize basic computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and adapt to varied work settings

Shift

Variable shift up to 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range : $108,791.20 - $177,590.40 annually

Grade : PAT - 014

University Title : PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SPECIALTY CARE III
