The Work :

The Middleware Developer will :

  • Provide maintenance, enhancement, and support of SAP PI interfaces.
  • Document and execute technical change and configuration management processes.
  • Be responsible for the technology environment management function supporting the design, build, test, implementation, and environment support for production and development of SAP PI solutions and associated application components.
  • Support application developers, functional business specialists, and trading partners to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
  • Adhere to all security guidelines and procedures.
  • Coordinate services with supporting organizations and 3rd parties as required.
  • Be required to participate in pager / on-call support.
  • Provide estimates of software development, maintenance and operations

Here’s What You Need :

  • Role required to be onsite in Alexandria, VA
  • 5+ years of SAP PI experience
  • Experience supporting the following : PI Design, PI Mapping / Code development, PI Configuration, PI System Monitoring, Troubleshooting PI, Improving PI System Performance
  • Experience developing code with the following : ABAP, JAVA, Oracle o Experience supporting PI Integration with : ECC, BW, VANS, CAMS, Oracle
  • Experience with one or more of the following : EDI X12, DLMS, MILS, Flat File Translation
  • Experience with adapter and protocol knowledge with one or more of the following : Unix, Web Services, sFTP, FTP, SeeBurger, i-Way CICS
  • Experience in coordinating PI full life cycle implementations from preparation to go-live and operation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Bonus Points if you have :

  • IAT Level 2
  • Ability to interpret ABAP, Java, and Oracle code
  • Experience with SAFe / Agile development
  • Experience with XML
  • Experience Identifying & Applying OSS notes
  • US Federal Government IT experience with a focus on Logistics

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia .

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
