Old Kentucky Chocolates has a wonderful opportunity for you to sell award-winning chocolates in our retail stores. OKC was recently named The Best in Lexington - Candy Store 2023 .
Additionally, OKC is a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 60 years.
Sales Associates are responsible for generating sales by providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will be selling chocolates that have been made using recipes that our family has been perfecting for three generations.
We make our premium small-batch chocolates every day, in Lexington, so they are always fresh and delicious.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maximize sales by providing customers with product knowledge
- Maximize sales by providing recommendations of complementary products
- Perform transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established guidelines
- Consistently provide support to fellow employees to create a positive store environment
- Replenish the store throughout the day and merchandise all products to company standards
- Maintain store appearance
- Understand and adhere to all company policy and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Previous retail experience is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work well with others as a team
- Ability to use a POS system
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age and a high school diploma
- Available to work weekends, when needed
