Our office has been open for 8+ years. We are privately owned with 4 doctors, 9 hygienists, and 10 assistants in Centerton, Arkansas.
We pride ourselves on providing an encouraging and uplifting environment for our employees and our patients. With the constant increase to the population in Northwest Arkansas, specifically in Centerton, we are in need of a hard working Dental Assistant to join our team.
We are seeking an individual that embodies our Core Values and finds pride in treating their patients with the utmost care.
Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- When necessary, assist dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies
- Making sure medical and dental histories, as well as patient vital signs, are gathered and recorded
- Maintain dental equipment inventory and order dental supplies
Requirements
- Has an active Arkansas Dental Assistant License
- NOT REQUIRED TO START.
- On The Job Training Available!
- Current CPR and Nitrous Certification
- NOT REQUIRED TO START.
- Certification provided
- NO EXPERIENCE IN DENTAL REQUIRED
- On The Job Training Available!
- Good Computer Skills
- Willingness to learn new things
- Well organized and reliable
Days and Hours
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7 : 30am - 7 : 30pm
- Patients seen from 8 : 00am-12 : 30pm and 1 : 30pm-7 : 00pm
