THE TEAM
Ticketmaster is a global leader in live entertainment, connecting millions of fans to unforgettable experiences. We are seeking a skilled and innovative Resale Product Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will drive the development and enhancement of our ticket resale platform, enabling fans to securely and conveniently resell their tickets.
THE JOB
As a Fan Seller Product Manager at Ticketmaster, you will lead the strategic direction, design, and execution of our ticket resale product.
Your goal will be to create a seamless and user-friendly experience that empowers fans to efficiently resell their tickets while adhering to our company's values and policies.
This role requires an understanding of the ticketing industry, user behavior, and technology trends.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Product Strategy : Develop and refine the overall strategy for the ticket resale platform, aligning with Ticketmaster's goals and values.
- User-Centric Design : Collaborate with design and UX teams to create an intuitive and user-friendly resale process that caters to fans' needs.
- Requirements Definition : Gather and prioritize user requirements, working closely with stakeholders, clients, and fans to ensure a comprehensive feature set.
- Feature Development : Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, by collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and legal.
- Market Analysis : Continuously monitor the ticket resale market, competitive landscape, and industry regulations to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Data-Driven Insights : Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions, optimize features, and measure the success of the resale platform.
- Communication : Clearly communicate product vision, goals, and updates to internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Testing and Quality Assurance : Oversee testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure the resale platform is reliable, secure, and compliant.
- User Education : Develop educational materials and resources to guide fans through the ticket resale process and policies.
- Launch and Adoption : Plan and execute successful product launches, driving user adoption and engagement.
- Feedback and Iteration : Collect feedback from users, stakeholders, and internal teams to iterate and improve the resale platform over time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with customer support, legal, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and effective resale experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, specifically in ticketing, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms.
- Deep understanding of the live events and ticketing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
