Primary Location : Remote / Various Locations in Florida

Clearance : Level II Background / Public Trust

Must be a US Citizen

Ability to work remotely : Must have reliable Internet and phone (land line or cellular) for on-call and scheduled access weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be willing to deploy within 36-hours of assignment to locations across the state of Florida.

Contingent Upon Contract Award

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking several Data Analysts to join the Team! As a member of OSG’s project team, the Data Analyst reports to OSG’s Site Supervisor within the project team.

The Data Analyst will perform data analysis activities, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data insights and reports. This role may include peer review of other analysts, performing quality checks, and supporting the annual reporting cycle.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical skills, a strong background in data science, experience in using analytical tools, and have a familiarity with law enforcement protocols and Title III regulations governing intercepted and collected information.

In support of Obsidian’s Title III services contract, the Data Analyst will perform the following activities and possess the relevant qualifications, skills, and competencies listed herein.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform Data Analysis Activities : Serve as a member of a team of data analysts, providing accurate and relevant data analysis.
• Validate Analysis and Results : Review and validate the work of other analysts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data insights.
• Perform Quality Checks : Conduct thorough quality checks of reports and insights prior to submission to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Support Annual Reporting Cycle : Assist in the preparation and completion of annual reports, ensuring all data and insights are accurate and comprehensive.

Requirements :

• Education : Associate degree in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Experience : 5+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, and reporting.
• Credentials : Familiarity with analytical tools.

Skills and Competencies

• Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
• Attention to Detail : Keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of data and reports.
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data insights and reports.
• Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in using analytical tools and software.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Home office and traditional office settings

Travel

• Occasional requirement to travel within 48-hours’ notice of project assignment.
• Travel within Florida by air or car as required by the contract.
