BridgeTower Media is seeking an Editor / Reporter to work with our editorial team and assist with projects and news coverage. Organizationally, we are making a sincere effort to create an equitable, welcoming, and inclusive culture. We are seeking employees who both understand and can mitigate the impact of unconscious bias in all aspects of the workplace.
This is a remote role but must be based in the State of North Carolina.
Duties + Responsibilities :
- Work with editorial team members, freelance contributors and production team on producing insightful news coverage for our audiences
- Participate in a multimedia newsroom providing essential niche content across platforms, including the website, email newsletters, social media and print
- Edit, write and post stories to ensure essential digital content daily
- Oversee production of print publication and assist in production of daily news website
- Assist with social media and newsletters
- Write for and edit print publication
- Generate story ideas for daily news, enterprise stories and print stories
