Join us.We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a unique opportunity on our operations team in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Our shop is not your typical shop. As a Maintenance Technician, you are an integral part of a successful team and are responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment that produces specialized products and components for the aerospace industry.
In this role, you work with new state-of-the-art equipment in a safe, clean air and climate-controlled environment. This is a 1st shift role 7am-3 : 30pm, Monday-Friday.
A successful Maintenance Technician is a problem-solver, safety-focused, and understands the importance of quality. They work collaboratively with other team members and cross-functional teams to ensure equipment functions properly and to high standards.
This position requires a dedication to learn ATI’s processes, products and procedures. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level Maintenance candidate to develop their skill set and grow with a global industry leader or for an experienced Maintenance candidate to bring their skill set to a unique team.
Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms preventative maintenance and skilled repairs on complex production equipment and systemsEvaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yieldPerforms equipment failure analyses, including preventative and unscheduled maintenanceTroubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problemsPrepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
Basic QualificationsMechanical troubleshooting experience pertaining to CNC machinesBasic hand tools experience1 or more years of forklift and overhead crane experience.
Desired ExperienceBackground in a maintenance technician role in a CNC shopExperience with Mazak and DMG Mori or equivalent CNC machinesElectrical troubleshooting experience.
SkillsUnderstanding of CNC machines and exposure to CNC in a machine shopStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent oral and written communication with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teamsAbility to work both independently and as a part of a high-performing teamStrong analytical skills to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long-term solutionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust successfully complete pre-employment evaluation.
We offer benefit eligibility on the 1st of the month following the date of hire + up to 8% employer 401(k) contribution and match + 15 days of paid time off per year + 12 paid holidays per year.
This position qualifies for a $2,000 new hire bonus paid in 2 increments as follows : $1,000 paid after 60 days of employment and $1,000 paid after 120 days of employment.
