Bakery Assistant / Back of House / Food Prep (ENTRY LEVEL POSITION)

What you will do?

Assist with dough preparation including but not limited to :

• Handling dough
• Rolling / circling dough
• Weighing / measuring dough
• Clean up / dishes
• Assist in kitchen to support all baking activities when needed
• Food Handler's Certificate required upon hire
• Follow food safety guidelines at all times

Job Requirements :

Reliable, come to work on time and EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED.

Must maintain and follow strict cleaning and food handling / safety guidelines. Hairnet, apron, and gloves are required at all times.

Must be trustworthy. Will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect recipes, etc.

Ability to multitask while paying special attention to detail and is meticulous

Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs

Moderate verbal and written communication skills

Is legally authorized to work in the United States

Must pass background check

Physical Requirements :

Frequent and repetitive hand movements, walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead

Handle heavy dough and equipment including large mixing bowls, machinery, etc.

Able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

Language Skills :

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Work Schedule :

Full-time

Weekday mornings

Potential for additional hours during peak season / holidays

Salary :

$16.50 per hour
