Overview
SOSi is seeking a Security Specialist for Special Access Programs. In this role, the ideal candidate will serve as a security specialist in support of the Special Access Program Control Officer.
Essential Job Duties
- Develops detailed plans, tasks, milestones, and schedules to ensure proper governance and oversight of activities, processes, and costs for assigned efforts within the SAP portfolio.
- Supports issues including SAP and restricted Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) governance and oversight, resources, requirements capabilities and program coordination.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across the Department to support development of SAP guidance, policy, and directives; provide resulting deliverables via in-person, written, and virtual presentations to DoD senior leaders.
- Assists in the functions of personnel security (PERSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), communication security (COMSEC), continuity of operations (COOP), information security / operations security (INFOSEC / OPSEC), industrial security (INDSEC), and general security administration (customer support).
Minimum Requirements
- Active DoD TS / SCI Clearance
- 3-5 years of experience supporting government or DoD security programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in processing SAP administrative actions.
- Familiarity with the listed tasks and tools, including PARs, PSQs, JADE, SIMS, and DD-254's.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining security protocols.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Direct knowledge, experience, and expertise working with SAP capability requirements, their factors / considerations, and related statute(s), policy, directives, instructions, and guidance.
- Experience maintaining compliance with appropriate security measures
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication, briefing and technical writing skills required.
