As a Program Manager in LGBTQ+ Affairs and the DEI FHWC Pillar, you will be responsible for leading the team’s program management responsibilities, managing Finances and, organizing and preparing key reporting and presentations, such as Business Reviews and stakeholder updates.

The ideal candidate must have program and project management skills, strong governance, data and analytical skills, a strong passion for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda, and a personal commitment to drive a culture of respect and inclusion.

This role reports to the Global Head of the Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs and DEI Pillar Lead for FHWCfor JPMorgan Chase.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide program management support required to drive the execution of the LGBTQ+ and FHWC Pillar strategies.
  • Lead the day-to-day project management of our strategic priorities, inclusive of : Creation and maintenance of team backlog, key programming schedules, status and reporting for key projects / initiatives, working across the DEI organization when necessary.

Financial oversight Data analysis and storytelling in presentation format for a range of executive updates, including business reviews and strategic updates.

Meeting management and administration Team controls oversight as well as team governance and administration. Oversee required inputs, track and day-to-day management of OKRs and KPIs, as applicable.

Ad-hoc responsibilities for program and project management support of various initiatives

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to administer program agenda.
  • Organize LGBTQ+ Affairs and DEI FHWC Pillar events and meetings, including the creation of -project / deliverable schedules, identifying key objectives and resources, collecting and consolidating material, and additional administrative and oversight activities.
  • Analyze and resolve program / project-related issues and follow-through with set objectives.
  • Contribute to Global DEI central governance activities and deliverables.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Program / Project Management : Prior program management experience with exceptional project management and analytical skills, strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written); strong ability to articulate concepts and translate content into executive level presentations that can be delivered to stakeholders at all levels internally and externally as well as strong note-taking skills to leverage for meeting minutes and status reporting
  • Business mindset : Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to inform and influence decisions and solutions across multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, program and / or project management, and a deep commitment to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda
  • Relationship Management : Strong relationship management and collaboration skills to be leveraged across a firmwide, global network;

able to build new partnerships and influence.

  • Financial Management : Prior experience managing budgets and conducting financial planning.
  • Decision-making : High degree of independent decision-making, autonomy and sound judgement.
  • Teamwork : Outstanding partnership and collaboration skills that center around promoting a shared purpose, instilling trust and fostering teamwork across functions, businesses, and regions at all levels in the organization.
  • Risk and Controls : Ability to manage the teams’ controls oversight as well as handle confidential information; effectively escalating risks and potential issues with urgency, care, and sensitivity.
