Details :

The Manager, Investor Relations reports to the VP, Investor Relations and is a key member in developing company communication strategy to the investment community in collaboration with senior management.

Duties :

  • Manage development of materials supporting the quarterly earnings report which includes the press release, conference call script, investor presentation and financial guidance.
  • Develop anticipated investor questions and management talking points.
  • Prepare and support management for speaking engagements.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls with investors and sell side analysts as well as respond to inquiries.
  • Develop investor targeting strategy to ensure the company is reaching the right investors.
  • Understand all applicable securities regulations, and coach senior management and other EOG employees on such.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Details :

  • Minimum 10+ years experience on the buy side or equivalent investor relations experience.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance and equity markets with experience covering energy or other capital intensive / cyclical industries.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into compelling narratives for different audiences (institutional investors, retail shareholders, sell side analysts).
  • Experience in fast-paced work environment, with ability to organize tasks to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines while delivering excellent quality work products.
  • A proactive self-starter, and experience working in self-directed and dynamic environments. An ability and confidence to provide independent, strategic analysis; strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, Factset.
  • Moderate travel required, including some international.
  • Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
